Hurricane City supports UAMPS Smart Energy Initiative.  Hurricane City currently participates in the following incentive programs:

Home Energy Savings Program

Incentives are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hurricane City and their customers saved 68,000 kWh in 2009 and 207,000 kWh in 2010!

That's the equivalent of:

• 190 metric tons of CO2 emissions prevented, or
• taking 37 cars off the road for one year, or
• CO2 emissions from the electricity use of 23 homes for one year, or
• Emissions avoided by recycling 66 tons of waste
